After founders fills
Standard recurring
When the founders cohort fills, this is the rate. Recurring every four weeks (or every two, same price). Cancel any time in two taps.

Every dog is priced by its own coat, so a multi-dog visit is simply the rates added together. Mixed breeds route through a quick eligibility check at booking. Once a visit enters the 24 hour window, the card on file is charged and the appointment is locked.

The service is built for dogs that do not need a haircut. If yours never sees clippers on its body, you are almost certainly in. A mixed breed picks by its coat.
We groom
- Short-coat dogs, the easy kind (smooth short single coats: pit bulls, Boxers, Labs)
- Thick-coat dogs, the full-coat kind (thick double coats that shed without matting: Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Australian Shepherds)
- Friendly dogs handleable without aggression
- Dogs at private homes inside The Villages with driveway parking
We do not groom
- Dogs that need haircuts, including doodles and poodle crosses
- Siberian Huskies, Great Pyrenees, and Great Danes (coats and sizes that need hours, not a route stop)
- Coats that mat or pack heavy undercoat against the skin (mat removal is outside this service)
- Dogs that show aggression toward people
- Households outside the Villages service area

What to expect
How a visit unfolds.
- 1 We park in your driveway and set up the trailer.
- 2 Your dog comes out. Everything happens in the climate controlled trailer.
- 3 The Hurricane Bath does the work. Pressure dialed to the dog, suds driven to the skin.
- 4 High velocity dry in the same trailer, with the deshed worked out of the coat. No standing wet.
- 5 Nails done, a targeted shave of the sanitary areas so clean stays clean, pads shaved and the feet lightly trimmed. The full job, nothing left for later.
- 6 Your dog walks back inside clean, dry, and finished. We roll on.
The whole visit fits inside a single block (we book in blocks, not to-the-minute slots). The work runs inside the block; we do not promise an exact arrival minute.

The Villages route is Jake's. Every new Villages client is on his book, and he is the one who rolls up to your driveway, trained on the Hurricane Bath system from the start by the man who built it.
The standard does not belong to a person. It belongs to the process. Every bath follows the same steps: dial down to soak, up to drive water to the skin, recirculate, flush if filthy, finish on the clean tank, dry in the climate controlled trailer. As Dog Gone Clean grows, every Hurricane Bath Operator who joins the route is trained on the same standard. You will always know, by name and face, who is coming to your driveway.
Paul Nickerson
Founder, and builder of the Hurricane Bath
Paul did not fall into this business by accident. He chose dogs. He wanted to build his life around working with them, so he trained at the Florida Institute of Animal Arts and built Dog Gone Clean from the ground up. What started as one trailer and one decision became a focused mobile dog grooming service built on calm handling and full attention. The system came later. The dogs came first.
Paul built the Hurricane Bath himself after years with the commercial systems showed him what to keep and what to fix. Today he trains every Hurricane Bath Operator on that system, starting with his son Jake.
